Laika has been in her room for about a week now and has been handling her pregnancy pretty well. Remaining in her feral form throughout.

*Laying in a pillow fort she had created for herself. Which is cozy and soft and warm. Relaxing at the moment*

*walking by* Comfortable in there?

*She looked up at him. And wagged her tail a little* {Yes, Very. How are you?}

Good. Need anything?

Well... Um.. not particularly but. I am a bit thirsty.

No problem. *leaves to bring her a bowl of water*

{Do you... Um.. need anything yourself?} *She asked. Sitting up in her little fortress.* (edited)

No. Just making sure you're comfortable for when the time comes. (edited)

{Oh, okay. Um.. Would you mind if I sit in your lap for a bit?}

Or I could come in there if you like.. *shits to full feral, and crawls in her "den"*

*She looked at him and just smiled. Her tail wagging more as she snuggled up to him*

How's that?

{*Giggling* Perfect. You're a beautiful fox... I can't help but be mesmerized by your coat}

Oh is it now? Maybe that was the trick all along, mesmerize you into sleeping with me.

{Well it certainly worked} *She teased him back with a giggle. Rolling onto her back and pawing his face a little*

*licks her nose*

*Returns the affectionate lick and looks into his eyes* {I've.. really enjoyed being with you...}

As I have with you

{I still feel bad that my parents are so worried about me.. is there something wrong with me for just wanting to experience being wild?.. I mean I know it isn't all that.. luxurious, and there's plenty here to do. To see. But.. I don't know.. I just find it.. special.. in a way..}

I don't think they're concerned so much as they're worried if you'll be alright. If you want to go feral, I'm not against it. Besides, we'll always be mates as far as I'm concerned. So you do whatever feels right and natural for you. I'll be there either way.

{Thank you... I may stay Feral.. at least for a little while... But I will also be my Normal self sometimes. I love both aspects of myself. Both feels right. Both are me. But one side just.. appeals to me more than the other at the moment.. you know?} *Licking and chewing at his neck fur. Grooming him affectionately*

Well then, guess I'll just have to stay with you then, huh?

{I would like that... And um.. maybe.. after this.. you and I could go on an actual date together? As ourselves of course.}

Are we not already? We're spending time together, doing something you enjoy...

{Y-You get what I mean!!} *She rolls over and tries to hide herself in her tail.*

*since she's not looking, since she's "hiding" he finds a spot under some of the pillows and "disappears"*

*She feels a brief stirring and then uncovered her face. Startled to see he wasn't there now. Standing and looking around for him. Lowering her nose to the floor and sniffing him out*

*She soon figured out where he's hiding and pulls the pillows off one at a time to slowly reveal him* {You really like hide and seek don't you?}

You were the one doing the "no peaking" part, were you not, wasn't I supposed to hide?

*She just gives him a "smartass.." expression and nips at his ear playfully before backing out of the "Den" and kicking one of the pillows holding it up, over. Causing it to topple down. Before darting off to her bedroom. Which she left the door open to for easy access. And hid under the blanket*

*chases after her, eventually crawling under the blanket with her, and keeps her company and rests with her through the night*
